Large was my first project at App Academy, built with PUG templates. My group is particularly proud of the pixel perfect styling. Personally, of what I built, I'm most proud of the comment bar as well as the custom script I wrote to mimic the "disappearing M's" on Medium's homepage.

SoundWave was my first solo project at App Academy, and is of course, a Soundcloud clone. I'm particularly happy with the styling; I implemented various packages like Wavesurfer and Node-Vibrant to create the classic Soundcloud feel. I'm also excited about the song queue feature. By hovering over a track, users can click the 'add-to-queue' icon at the bottom right. Check out the build to listen and try for your self!

SoundWave

KarmaFarm was my capstone project at App Academy. I got the inspiration for this build from its namesake, KarmaFarm, an organic farm I used to work at. Their ordering is still done almost exclusively by hand, so I decided to build an upgrade: a custom ordering app to streamline the ordering process. This app enables the farm to create/edit/delete products, view customer orders, send out updates to all its users and view feedback. On the flip side, customers can submit feedback, place orders, and chat with the farm. I'm particularly proud of this chat feature which implements websockets. It even has real-time notifications for unread messages.
